Chunky silver ring with carnelian and labradorite

Chunky silver ring, embellished by two richly coloured cabochons: a deep, warm orange carnelian and an opalescent, light blue labradorite. The two stones are set in copper to create a nice contrast with the rest of the ring, which is in sterling silver.

To add interest, half of the ring is polished and smooth, the other is left with the texture created by the sand used for the casting.

The ring is size P (UK) - 7 3/4 (US) - 16 (EU) - 56 (DE).

The carnelian cabochon is 7 mm (1/3") in diameter, the labradorite is 3 mm (1/10"). The ring band is about 1 cm (2/5")  wide and about 4 mm (1/6") thick.
