Heart pendant - pink and copper

Dainty little heart, enriched by cast-in copper granules and pink zirconia.

Entirely made by hand with the technique of sand-casting, where a shape is a pressed into a sand cylinder, thus creating a mould where the molten metal is poured. The techniques imparts an unique texture to the piece.

The copper granules and zirconia are placed in the mould before the metal pour, thus creating an organic piece, where all the parts are harmonically held together by the silver.

The pendant is about 8x10 mm (1/3×2/5") plus jump ring.
